Agnipath Recruitment 2022:–

The Indian Cabinet has approved the Agnipath Scheme for the recruitment of youth in the Armed Forces under the Ministry of Defence. As part of this program, Agnivers will be recruited into the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force for a period of four years. Agniveers will also receive a one-time Seva Nidhi package upon completion of the four-year engagement period. Agnipath Indian Army Recruitment:–

1. Agniveer (General Duty)

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to pass the class 10th examination with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

2. Agniveer (Technical)

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to pass class 12th examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

3. Agniveer Clerk/ Store Keeper (Technical)

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to pass class 12th examination in any stream with 60% marks in aggregate and 50% in each subject. English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

4. Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Pass

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to pass class 10th examination with having 33% marks in each subject.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

5. Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Pass

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to pass class 8th examination with having 33% marks in each subject.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

Note: For the recruitment year 2022-23, the upper age limit has been raised from 21 to 23 years.

Agnipath Indian Air Force Recruitment:–

Indian Air Force published an official notification regarding the recruitment of AGNIVEER VAYU on 21st June 2022. Applications will be accepted starting on 24th June 2022. AGNIPATH Scheme applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online for the first intake.

Age Limit: Candidates born between 29th December 1999 and 29th June 2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 23 years.

Examination Fee: Examination fee of Rs.250/- is to be paid by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking through payment gateway. The examination fee can also be paid by Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch.

Educational Qualification

b) Other Than Science Subjects: Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination in any subject approved by Central/ State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Agnipath Recruitment 2022 Salary:–

In all three services, Agnivesers will receive a competitive monthly package along with Risk and Hardship allowances. A one-time Seva Nidhi package will be paid to Agnivesers on completion of the engagement period of four years, which will comprise their contribution, interest accrued on the contribution, and a matching contribution from the government equal to the accumulated amount of their contribution, including interest, as indicated below.

Exit after 4 year: Rs 10.04 lakhs plus accrued interest

Life Insurance Cover: Rs 48 lakhs
