Selection Procedure: The decision of the selection committee in shortlisting the number of candidates for interview and selection of PLVs shall be final.

Terms and Conditions:
1. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
2. Preferably the  PLVs shall be selected,  who do not look up to the income they derive from their services as PLVs, but they should have a mindset up to assist the needy in the society.
3. The minimum age should not be less than 18 years as of the date of advertisement.
4. The work of  PLVs does not carry any salary remuneration or wages except honorarium fixed by District Legal Services Authority, Dima Hasao, from time to time as per rules.
5. Incomplete applications will be rejected without assigning any reasons.
6. List of short-titled eligible candidates will be notified in the official notice board as well as uploaded on the official website of www.dimahasaoiudiciarv.gov.in.
7. Teachers including retired teachers,  retired government servants and senior citizens,  MSW students,  Anganwadi workers,  Doctors/physicians,  students, and law students  (till they enroll as lawyers), members of nonpolitical, service-oriented NGOs and clubs, members of women groups, and self-help groups and educated prisoner with good behavior serving long term sentences in prison are also eligible to apply.
8. PLVs who are already working under the DLSA, Dima Hasao need not apply.
9. No T.A, D.A will be provided for appearing in the interview.
