Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ institution with a minimum of 60% marks.
Duration of the Contract: The contract period of the Technical Officer is initially for a period of 11 months. Further extension will be based on the performance of the concerned person/ project requirement.
Age: 35 years
Pay: Rs. 30,000/-

Desirable Qualifications/ Skills:
1. Relevant knowledge in areas of community-driven rural/urban development projects (Water supply, Roads, Buildings, Sanitation, and other relevant areas)
2. Computer Knowledge in MS office/OS and Internet.
3. Willing to work in a complex, multi-stakeholder and fast-moving environment.
4. Willing to work under pressure, respecting strict deadlines, and multi-tasking.
5. Knowledge of Assamese, English, Hindi & another local language (s).
6. Good social, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and planning skills.
7. Self-motivated and possessing the ability to work independently as well as in teams.
8. Willing to travel extensively within and outside the state.
Age: Age not more than 35 years as of 1st January 2020.
Place of Posting: In 42 Nos. PHE Division in the entire State of Assam.
Document Requirement: Those, who have CGPA in mark sheets, must mention equivalent percentage. An authentic document/reference related to this must be provided in the application form.
Selection Procedure: Applicants not producing any of the documents specified in Clause I (Application Requirement) will not be eligible for consideration. As the selection will be completely contact-less, hence, the declarations made by the applicants will be accepted as true. If at any point in time, it is found that any information provided by any applicant is not correct, then appropriate action will be taken by the Mission Directorate, Jal Jeevan Mission as per the procedure. The recommended candidates should produce original documents at the Mission Directorate, Jal Jeevan Mission, Assam when asked for.

Methodology of Recruitment:
Due to the current situation concerning the Pandemic COVID 19, a contactless recruitment process is purely based on academic performance from Class X to Graduation level and Candidate’s fit to the essential and desirable qualification/skills. The weightage of marks for selection will be:
HSLC 10%
HSSLC 20%
Graduation: 65%
5% marks will be allotted to candidates graduating from State/Central Government Universities/ Institutions.
