Border Security Force (BSF) Central Govt Job has announced the recruitment of Meritorious Sports Persons to the post of constable (General Duty) Under Sports Quota. you can apply Online. There are 269 vacancies in the following Sports/Games disciplines:-

Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Age: 18 to 23 years as on 01 Jan 2021 ( Relaxation as per the prevalent Recruitment Rules)

Salary: Rs. 21,700 to 69,100/-  (Level – 3)

Other Details of  BSF Constable GD Appointment:–

Physical Standard:
i) Height: Male = 170 cms and Female = 157 cms
ii) Chest (For Male Only): 80 cms (Unexpended). Min expansion – 05 cms
iii) Weight: Proportional to height and age as per medical standards for male and female candidates.

Sports Qualification: Players who have participated or won a medal(s) in the various levels of competition given at Para 4(b) of detailed instructions from 01/09/2019 till 14/09/2021 will only be considered.

Individual event (International/National): The sportspersons who have participated or won medals in any International Sports events recognized by the International Olympic Association as a member of the Indian team for 2 years and players who have won medals in any National Games or Championship recognized by Indian Olympic Association Sports Federation of (concerning sports), Junior National level championship, National School Games, All India Inter-University Tournaments / Championship from 01/09/2019 to 14/09/2021.

Team Event (International/National): In the team event, sportspersons who have won any medals in National Games/ National Championship Both (Junior & Senior), All India Inter-University or any recognized sports meet of respective federation/ Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or Conducted by the India Olympic Association during the period of from 01/09/2019 till 14/09/2021 while representing State/ UT/ Sports Control Board, Sportspersons should be  Playing a member of the team. However, this condition does not apply to medals in International tournaments.

Selection Process: Online application Forms and copy of certificate uploaded by the candidates will be scrutinized and if found in order the respective candidates will be issued online admit cards to appear in the recruitment process candidate will have to undergo the following process of recruitment:
i) Checking of Testimonials/documents
ii) Measurement of Physical Standard (PST)
iii) Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

2. Eligible and interested candidates should apply only through the BSF Recruitment website http://proiects.bsf.qov.in/ Candidates are advised to fill the application form after reading the instructions carefully. The application must be submitted ONLINE only. No application will be accepted offline. The candidature of the candidate who submitted the application offline will be rejected summarily.

3. The candidate has to upload a copy of the certificate or document for sports discipline mentioned at Para 2(a) above on the BSF Recruitment Website in support of his/her highest medal/position or highest level of participation in the sports achievement mentioned at Para 4(b) on BSF Recruitment website In their profile created on the http7/projects.bsf.gov.in/ before applying for the post, else his/her online application will be rejected during scrutiny.
