Other Details of CISF Recruitment:–

Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University with science subject on or before the closing date of receipt of online Application Form.

Nationality/ Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be 18-23 years as on the closing date for receipt of the online Applications Form (i.e. 04/03/2022). Candidates should not have been born earlier than 05/03/1999 and later than 04/03/2004.

Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below:

> SC/ST: 5 years
> OBC: 3 years
> Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the date of reckoning.

Selection Process of CISF Constable Recruitment:–

In The recruiting authority will conduct a written test as the first step in the selection process. Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted for candidates who achieve minimum qualifying marks. The final selection will be based on the results of the written examination. The last stage of recruitment will involve document verification.

1. Physical Standards Test (PST):

The following standards must be met by candidates in order to qualify for this test.

Height: 170 Centimetres

Chest: 80-85 Centimetres (Minimum expansion 5 Centimetres)

Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards. Weight will be recorded at the time of physical measurements but the decision on fitness on account of weight will be taken at the time of medical examination.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Race: To qualify for this PET, candidates have to clear 5 Kilometre run in 24 minutes.

3. Written Examination: 

CISF will conduct a computer-based written examination to check the educational knowledge of the candidate and all the applicants will be required to appear in this test to proceed with the selection process. The pattern of this written test can be as follows.

Type of Question: The questions in the Written Examination will be of 12th standard (science subject).

Duration of Exam: 120 Minutes

Type of Exam: The Constable written exam will be based on OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) system and Computer Based Test (CBT).

Medium of Exam: The question paper will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi and English.

Date of Exam: Exam date will be announced separately.

4. Document Verification:

Candidates who successfully clear the PET will have to go through a document verification process to proceed in the selection process. In this process, the authority will check the details and documents provided by the candidates while applying for the recruitment.

5. Medical Examination:

This is the final stage of the selection process, the candidates will be medically examined on a prescribed basis for physical and mental health.
