Qualification:
(i) Bachelor Degree in any discipline from University recognized by UGC. and

(ii) Master of Library & Information Science from a University recognized by UGC with a minimum of 55%. and

(iii) Knowledge of computer application in Library and Information Management. and

(iv) Working experience in a Library/ Information Centre is preferable.

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2021.

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as follows –

> SC/ ST: By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
> OBC/ MOBC: By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years.
> PWBD: By 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate. 

Pay: Rs. 57,700/- to Rs. 1,82,400/- (Level-10)

Domicile: The candidate must upload a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes as proof of residency or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of Assam or Voter ID.
