IOCL Nursing Admission 2022: For the 2022 academic year, Indian Oil Corporation Limited has officially announced the opening of the B.Sc. The nursing program at Assam Oil College/School of Nursing, located at IOCL (AOD), Digboi. IOCL Nursing Course Details:–

For the qualified students covered by this notification, the Assam Oil Division of Indian Oil Corporation Limited intends to provide two courses. Below, we explore these two courses’ specifics as well as their elements.

1. B.Sc Nursing

No of Seats: 30 Seats

Duration of Course: B. Sc Nursing course will be a full time regular course for a duration of 4 four years.

Details of Affiliation: Students with a B. Sc. in nursing will be admitted to the Assam Oil College of Nursing. The Indian Nursing Council has approved the Assam Oil College of Nursing’s course, which is affiliated with Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences in Guwahati.

2. GNM

No of Seats: 30 Seats

Duration of Course: GNM course will be a full-time regular course for a duration of 3 four years.

Details of Affiliation: The students of GNM will be admitted to Assam Oil School of Nursing (AOSN), which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and the course is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

IOCL Nursing Admission Eligibility Criteria:–

Education Qualification:-
B.Sc Nursing: Only female candidates who have participated in the SSUHS Common Entrance Exam 2022 will be eligible to submit their application.

GNM: HSSLC (i.e 10+2) with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and English with minimum aggregate of 40% Marks. The qualification should be from a Government recognized board under AHSEC/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE or other equivalent Board.

Gender: Only unmarried female candidates can apply for this course .

Age Limit: Candidates in the age group of 17 years to 24 years as on 30th September 2022 will be eligible for admission.

Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation will be as follows-

> OBC-NCL: 3 Years
> ST/SC: 5 Years
> PwBD: 10 Years
> PwBD( SC/ ST): 15 years
> PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years

IOCL Nursing Admission Stipend and Training Details:–

B.Sc (Nursing): The selected candidates shall be paid a consolidated stipend per month for 1st year – Rs.2,800/-; 2nd year – Rs.3,000/- ; 3rd year – Rs.3,200/-; and for 4th year – Rs.3,400/-.

GNM: The selected candidates shall be paid a consolidated stipend per month for 1st year – Rs. 2,500/- ; 2nd year – Rs. 2,700/- ; 3rd year – Rs. 2,900/-.

Additional Benefits/Opportunities:

> Free hostel accommodation, medical attention for self at AOD Hospital and uniform will be provided to all selected candidates. Selected candidates will be required to stay in the Nursing College hostel only.

> After passing out from respective courses, the candidates will be engaged compulsory for a period of 1 (one) year as working interns at AOD Hospital or in any of the other hospital of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. This may be extendable by maximum 2 (two) years at the sole discretion of IOCL (AOD). The working interns shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.15,250/- per month for GNM and Rs.16,250/- per month for BSc (N) at AOD Hospital and shall be paid an additional amount of Rs.1,000/- per month if they are placed at other hospitals of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, other than at AOD hospital. During the period while they are engaged as working interns, they shall not be provided with the accommodation facility.

IOCL Nursing Admission Selection Process:–

Candidates shall have to apply online with Common Entrance Examination (CEE-2022) Roll No. and with total marks obtained in CEE-2022. The candidates will have to upload the following documents in our AOCN online portal.

a) 10th Pass/Matriculation certificate issued by the concerned education board as proof of date of birth. No other document will be accepted for verification of date of birth.

b) SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/ EWS-Income & Asset Certificate by reserved category candidates in the prescribed format issued by Competent Authority.

c) Disability Certificate, if any in the prescribed format issued by Competent Authority.

d) Class X & XII marksheet and certificate issued by the concerned board.

e) Conversion certificate from CGPA/OGPA/Letter Grade to percentage of marks, if applicable, from concerned board.

f) Income Certificate (FY 2021-22) issued by Competent Authority. Issued on or after 01.04.2022.

g) Candidates seeking reservations under Digboi Legislative Constituency are required to produce Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)/ Voter Identity card of self or parent.

Only 30 (thirty) eligible candidates meeting desired parameters shall be called for document verification followed by medical examination. In case of tie (two or more) in total marks in the CEE written test result and weightage marks of Income certificate, the date of birth (senior by age) shall be the factor to be considered (in that order only) to place a candidate’s rank in the merit list.
