SCERT Assam D.El.Ed Admission 2022 Details:–

State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has the official notification for admission into 2 – Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course for the session 2022-2024. The application process for admission to this course can be completed online here by interested and eligible candidates.

The course will be conducted in the NCTE recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIET/ CTE/ Normal School/ BTC/ Pvt. TEls) of the state for the academic session 2022-2024.

Eligibility Criteria of D. El. Ed. Admission 2022:–

Educational Qualification: A candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Council with at least 50% marks in aggregate, excluding marks obtained in extra optional courses. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category will receive a 5% aggregate mark relaxation.

Appearing Students: Higher Secondary or its equivalent final examination candidates may also apply to appear in the PET-2022. Before the PET-2022 result is declared, they must submit their marks details & upload their scanned copy of the original/provisional mark sheet by logging into their accounts at https://scertpet.in/.

Age Limit: As of 1st July 2022, the applicant must be at least 18 years old and not older than 34 years old. SC, ST (P) and ST (H) candidates will receive a 2-year relaxation.

Reservation: Seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to the reserved categories, including OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD).

Application Fee: Rs.600.00 (Rupees Six Hundred Only) for all categories to be paid online (Internet Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Wallet).

Admit Card: SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET Admit Card candidates can download their Admit Cards by inputting their Registration Number and their Date of Birth generated during the online submission of applications beginning on 20th May 2022.

Pre-Entry Test (PET) Venue: The Pre-Entry Test (PET) will be held at the DIET/HS School of a District. A Pre-Entry Test may, however, be conducted in a nearby school/college, depending on the number of applicants. Pre Entry Test sites will be specified in the candidates’ Admit Cards.
