Teacher Transfer Portal:–

The Assam government has created an online application portal called “Teacher Transfer Management System” for any teacher interested in being transferred. The goal of this initiative is to reduce corruption, speed up the process, and maintain the Pupil-Teacher Ratio in schools by digitizing it. The new digital process will enable the desired teachers to submit their transfer requests as application forms on the official portal without visiting any of the department’s offices. The Teacher Transfer Management System (TTMS) has been activated and all teachers should submit their service profile information by October 10, 2021. A process for submitting the profile details will be triggered.

Teachers who submitted their service profile between 22nd November to 17th December 2021 can submit their online application for mutual transfer through TTMS Portal w.e.f 16th February 2022. The last date to apply online is 17th March 2022.

How to Submit Online Teacher Transfer Application:–

TThe Education Department of Assam launched the Teacher Transfer Management System on 22nd November 2021 to reduce the hassles of traditional teacher transfers. It has been developed to establish a pupil-teacher ration (PTR) in Assam’s government schools as per Assam Elementary and Secondary School Teachers’ (Regulation of Posting and Transfer Act, 2020).

There are two processes in TTMS Portal:  

Step 1: Service Profile Details
Step 2: Mutual Transfer Application

Service Profile Details:–

Teachers interested in online transfer and posting may now register and submit their service profile details in the TTMS portal within the stipulated time frame.

After submitting their service profile details, they will be able to submit their transfer preferences. The following are the basic steps to follow for submitting an Online Teacher Transfer Application.

> Scroll down, click on the Important links section.

> Click on the Submit Service Profile link.

> The Official TTMS Portal will load in a new tab.

> Click on the Create Account button.

> Enter your Name, Email Address, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Gender, Choose Password, and click the Submit button.

> Again click on the Submit Service Profile link and sign into the TTMS portal by clicking the Login button.

> After you log in, you should complete the following 11 sections of your personal information:

> School details (Elementary/ Secondary)
> Personal Details
> Academic Qualification
> Professional & Other Qualification
> Service Details
> Salary Accounts & Other Official Account Details
> Service Records
> Award Received
> Promotion Details
> Other Details and
> Supporting Documents to upload

> Submit the form at the end.

Document Requirement to Upload for Teacher Transfer Portal:—

Teacher Transfer Management System requires teachers to upload some of their documents to complete the process of submitting their Service Profile Details. You will find all the information you need regarding the process of uploading documents in this section.

Important Note: For those teachers who had joined before 3rd September 2001, uploading of TET Marksheet/Certificate and D.El.Ed or B.Ed Marksheet is not mandatory.

Mutual Transfer Application:–

The teachers who have already submitted their Service Profile Details can now apply for mutual transfers online. The steps are listed below.

> Click on the Online Mutual Transfer Application link.

> The official TTMS Portal will be displayed.

> Log-in with your credentials.

> There are two options for Mutual transfer–

Case-1: Teachers with a co-applicant may apply for mutual transfer by sharing their Aadhaar No./ PAN No./ Teacher Code and the co-applicant must consent to the transfer.

Case-2: A teacher who does not have a co-applicant can ask for a co-applicant in three different ways in order of preference.

> The teacher category, medium of instruction, and subject taught should match against an applicant (2nd choice, the desired place) or co-applicant (a known teacher with whom mutual transfer will be agreed).

> Teachers who want to apply for Mutual Transfer need to share either their Aadhar number or their Teacher ID or PAN number with a known co-applicant, subject to the condition that the above criteria match and the other applicant has already applied.

> Save and submit your application.
