Assam Direct Recruitment 2022 Details:–
For a vacancy of 13,300 Grade-IV posts and 13,141 Grade-III posts (tendential) in different establishments/departments under the Govt. of Assam, online applications are invited from the intending eligible candidates who are citizens of India and have a valid registration number with the employment exchange of the state of Assam. Applicants who have applied for Assam Direct Recruitment of Class III and Class IV categories of posts and made mistakes relating to Name, Address, D.O.B, etc while filling up of the forms, they may submit request for correction of application form from 9th June, 2022 to 16th June, 2022. A. Grade-III Vacancy Details
Name of Post: Category I ( Accountant/Cashier/Jr. Asstt./LDA/Stenographer etc)

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 06 (six) months duration from a recognized Institution.

Name of Post: Category II (Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, section Asstt., soil conservation Fieldworker Jr, Agriculture Extension Assistant, etc.)

Qualification: HSSLC or equivalent (for a post like Laboratory Assistant, Section Assistant, and Photography Assistant, candidates with HSSLC or equivalent with science stream only can apply)

B. Grade-IV Vacancy Details
Name of Post: Read up to Class-VIII (Minimum)

Name of Post: HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed.

Qualification: The maximum eligibility qualification for all Class-IV posts shall be HSSLC (Class 12) or equivalent examination passed and those who have an educational qualification higher than this maximum eligibility educational qualification on the date of application shall not be eligible to apply for any of the post or category of posts mentioned above.

Selection Process of Assam Govt Direct Recruitment:–
Different types of posts will be filled by different examinations conducted by the commission. The examinations will be held on different dates as follows in order to allow those holding a higher degree to participate in more than one examination. Bachelor’s Degree Level
The commission will conduct a separate examination as per the following eligibility qualifications for the posts.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Skill.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics.
Stage 1 (Written Exam):
Candidates submitting applications for graduate-level posts will have to take a written test. The structure of the written examination will be as follows.
Type of Exam: Written Examination
Mode of Exam: Offline
Type of Questions: Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions (MCQs)

Merit List:
All candidates are ranked according to their results in the written examination. For the computer test, another test, and practical test, the commission will determine minimum qualifying marks.
