Assam JMEE 2023: The Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) 2023 official announcement has been made public by Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU). The application period is from May 22, 2023, through June 12, 2023, for interested and qualified people.
The Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) is an entrance exam held by the Assam Science and Technology University for admission into the first-semester class of the MCA program at the colleges in the State of Assam, including Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat, and Girijananda Institute of Management and Technology, Guwahati for the academic year 2023–2024. Assam JMEE Examination Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
> Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of Minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation. The candidate must pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at the 10+2 level or at Graduation.
> A minimum of 50% marks must be scored in the Qualifying Degree Examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
Final Year Students:
> Candidates appearing in their final examination may also apply.
> Provisional admission shall be permitted provided that the student gives an undertaking that he/she shall be able to provide a final mark sheet/ certificate of qualifying examination within 2 months of taking admission failing which the admission of the student shall automatically stand canceled.
> Candidates seeking provisional admission shall have to clear all subjects up to the 5th Semester at the degree level. These students will have to produce all mark sheets up to the 5th semester for verification during Counseling.
Age Limit: Age must be between 20 years to 26 years as on 1st July 2023.
ASTU JMEE Exam Application Fee
> An Application Fee of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees Fifteen Hundred only) is to be paid online using “HDFC Collect Now” which facilitates payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. Assam Science and Technology University shall not accept hard copy of the Application and any other documents. The examination fee, once paid, is not refundable.
> Candidates must make successful online fee payments within the last date of submission of online applications. Otherwise his/her candidature will not be considered for examination. No communication regarding failure of payment, received after the last date of submission of online applications, will be entertained.
