HS 1st Year Admission Fee Details

According to the official announcement, the Assam government has cancelled the first-year admission fee for Assam’s higher secondary schools, making it free of charge for all students to enroll in government-approved institutions. All qualified students who wish to enroll in Assam High School’s first year online will not be charged anything.

Higher Secondary 1st-year classes in Assam will be admitted through “Darpan,” the single online portal for HS admission.

If they want to use this service, principals of colleges, high schools, and senior secondary schools can sign up online.

Institutions having active AHSEC codes must build their profiles on the portal by entering their institution’s information at www.darpan.ahseconline.in or www.ahsec.assam.gov.in in order to participate in the process.

How to Complete HS 1st Year Online Admission 2023?

Students who meet all the requirements for eligibility to enroll in the AHSEC HS first year may submit their online applications through the AHSEC website. Assam HS 1st Year Admission Merit List

According to their performance in the Assam HSLC/AHM Examination, 2023, the students will be assigned places in the schools and colleges to which they have filed applications. A student will have the option of submitting more than one institution with their application for admission. Several days after the application procedure was completed, the same webpage revealed the institute-specific merit list of the chosen students. According to the official information, the merit list will be released by the council on June 12, 2023, at midnight. Students must visit the DARPAN Portal and choose their preferred school or college after the merit list is published. Keep in mind that Institute selection is a one-time, final process, thus it is urged that you all approach with caution. Additionally, with the assistance of their individual institutes, students can switch their studies whenever they like.

How to Check Assam HS 1st Year Admission Merit List?

After the official announcement, students who filed online applications for admission into the first year of higher secondary under the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council will be able to see their admission merit list. The colleges and schools will compile the merit list based on how well each student performed on the HSLC/AHM test. All colleges and institutions are required by AHSEC to create their merit lists within the allotted time frame. The merit list for HS first-year admission was also announced by AHSEC, and students were informed that they may access it by logging into the DARPAN portal.
