SBI Junior Associate Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government as of 31st December 2023.

Final Year Students: Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31st December 2023.

Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be between 20 years to 28 years as of 1st April 2023. Candidates must have been born not later than 1st August 2003 and not earlier than 2nd August 1995 (both days inclusive).

Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for ST candidates and 10 years for PwD candidates.

SBI Recruitment Selection Process

The Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) position is selected through a preliminary examination, main examination, and language test.

Preliminary Examination

The online preliminary exam is made up of objective tests with a total score of 100. It is administered online. This exam lasts an hour and is divided into the following three sections:

As previously stated, each test will have a different time. For incorrect responses on the objective tests, there will be deductions from marks. Each incorrect response will result in a deduction of 1/4 of the mark allotted for that question. For both individual tests and total scores, there is no minimum required to pass.

Mains Examination

The online Main Exam consists of 200-mark objective tests that are administered online. This two-hour, forty-minute test is divided into the following three sections:

As previously stated, there will be distinct times for each test. In objective tests, incorrect answers will result in a deduction of marks. For every incorrect response, one-fourth of the mark allotted for that question will be subtracted. There is no minimum required score for either the aggregate or individual test results.

Language Test

If a candidate meets the requirements for selection and presents a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet or certificate attesting to the study of the designated local language, they will not be required to take any language tests. If a candidate did not study the designated local language at the 10th or 12th standard level, a language test will be administered following provisional selection but prior to joining; disqualification for failing this test will result in the non-offering of an appointment.

Final Selection

The final merit list preparation process will only consider the cumulative marks obtained in the Main Examination (Phase-II), with the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) being excluded from consideration. The candidates will be provisionally selected based on how well they did on the main examination.
