APRO Recruitment 2022 Details:–

State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam Govt Job has released recruitment on 540 Constable Vacancy in Assam Police Radio Organisation (APRO) and Assam Commando Battalions. The government of Assam has sanctioned 70 posts of Constables (WO/WT/CY) for newly created Assam Commando Battalions. These newly sanctioned 70 posts will be clubbed along with 441 posts of Constable (WO/WT/OPR) already advertised as the essential qualification and other criteria of both the post are the same.

However, the candidate who applied earlier for the posts of Constable (WO/WT/OPR) against advertisement dated 15th February 2022 need not to apply again and their candidature will be considered for the newly sanctioned 70 posts of Constables (WO/WT/CY) for Assam Commando Battalions also.

Qualification: 10+2 (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) of 10+2 (Science) examination to apply for the post.

Other Details of APRO Recruitment:–

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st January 2022 (i.e., Candidate must be born on or before 01/01/2004 and on or after 01/01/1997).

Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below

> SC/ST: 5 years
> OBC/MOBC: 3 years
> Trained Home guard: 3 years

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence /Domicile Certificate after the publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.

Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
