Assam Direct Recruitment Correction form

Two notifications have been released by the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) regarding the opening of a correction window for candidates who submitted their ADRE applications with incorrect information. For Assam Direct Recruitment, the application correction window will be open from 11 a.m. on January 5, 2024, to January 18, 2024. Candidates who entered incorrect information can now use this correction window to update their details.

Assam Direct Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

The category-wise eligibility criteria has been mentioned below.

Maximum Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having qualification higher than maximum qualification on the date of application are not eligible to apply for these vacancy.

Grade III (Category I)

> Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree. (As applicable)

> Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/ Diploma of minimum 6 months duration. (As applicable)

> Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration and Stenography Certificate  from  recognized  Institute. (As applicable)

> Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration  from a  recognized Institute. (As applicable)

Grade III (Category II)

> Enter all your personal and educational details and upload the necessary documents.

> Pay the application fee according to your category and submit the form.

> Take a printout of the application form.

Before beginning to fill out the online application for a Class III or Class IV post, a candidate must first complete a common registration on the portal. Candidates can register through the websites for Classes III and IV. As an illustration, once a candidate registers for a Class III post, they do not need to do so again for a Class IV post. The candidate may apply for Class III or Class IV positions, or for both, depending on their eligibility, using the same registration ID.

Assam Direct Recruitment Selection Process

The ADRE 2023 detail selection procedure is still under wraps. The official announcement states that the examination schedule will be released no less than seven days prior to the scheduled written test. Therefore, in order to have a better understanding of the exam, candidates are asked to review the previous year's selection procedure, which is detailed below.

To select candidates for different job categories, the Assam Direct Recruitment Commission would conduct separate competitive examinations. Consequently, the commission will consider reservations for SC, ST, OBC, and other categories while choosing applicants for recommendation, ranking them according to merit and highest grade pay.

The examinations shall be held separately on different dates so as to enable higher-degree holders to appear in more than one examination.

Bachelor’s Degree Level

The commission will organize separate examination as per the following eligibility qualifications for the posts.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Skill.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics.

Stage 1 (Written Exam)

The candidates applied for the graduate level posts will have to appear in a written test in the 1st phase of the recruitment process. The details of the written test is as mentioned below.

Type of exam: Written Examination

Mode of exam: Offline

Type of questions: Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions (MCQs)

Merit List

A list of shortlisted candidates will be compiled in order of merit based on the scores received in the written exam, the interview, and the skill test. The minimal passing score for computer tests, other tests, and practical tests will be set by the commission. Applicants will not be selected if their results in the computer test, another test, or practical test fall short of the required marks.
