Polytechnic Admission Test 2023: The Directorate of Technical Education, Assam, has issued an official notification regarding admission to various polytechnic diploma courses in Assam State Government Polytechnics and Polytechnics outside Assam for the academic year 2023-24. Candidates who are Permanent Residents of Assam (except Central Government Employees quota) are invited to apply online for registration to the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2023. Polytechnic Admission Test 2023 Details

Name of course/s: 3 Year Diploma Course/s

Name of the test: Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2023

Academic session: 2023–2024

Test to be conducted by: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam

Test centres:  State Govt. Engineering Colleges, State Polytechnics and at Tezpur, Mangaldai.

Date of test: 11th or 18th or 25th June 2023 (Sunday)

Time of test: 10 AM to 12 Noon (2 Hours)

Type of questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQs)

Polytechnic Admission Test Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification: The HSLC or its equivalent examination, with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects, must be passed in a single sitting by the candidate. Candidates must also have passed both the Theory and Practical examinations in Mathematics and Science on their own. In addition, candidates must obtain the following marks as specified by their categories.

PAT 2023 Application Fee

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- plus bank charges to complete the online application process for PAT 2023.

Online Mode of Payment: Candidates can pay their application fee through State Bank Collect, which accepts payments via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Offline Mode of Payment: After generating the Cash Deposit form from State Bank Collect in the final step of the Online Application, payment can also be made in cash at any State Bank of India branch.
